Randy was lovely to deal with, helpful and communicative. The apartment was good value for what I needed for, (being close to a relative and was clean and tidy with easy to follow instructions . Lovely cafe at the bottom of the complex . Very convenient to have parking on site ( it’s an interesting car park !) The apartment itself though feels like it’s being stuck together with duct tape, and the carpets are long worn (and may contribute to the stale smell. Also had no room ventilation in the second bedroom, my teenage son had to sleep with the door open ( didn’t bother me more him 😜) the Balcony is shared with the neighbouring apartment, and is more of an air-conditioning unit area than a relaxing area, but that was fine for us. We had the apartment at a discounted last minute rate, and for what we paid and for having a car space it was good value for the neighbourhood.

It was a good experience altogether from check in to check out for all the days that I stayed at the accommodation. The host was very responsive and cleared all our doubts and made a smooth experience for us.

The location of the place is excellent, and Randy was very responsive throughout our stay. He replied quickly and was always helpful with any questions we had. However, the cleanliness was a concern, as the towels and bed sheets had an unpleasant smell. Improving the cleanliness would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Randy's place was everything you'd want in a tidy Southbank apartment airbnb: near a tramstop, a short walk to great restaurants in South Melbourne, the MCEC. Also an easy tramride straight back into the CBD. It's well maintained, and all the amenities worked well, and it was secure and safe. I'd stay here again for events at the MCEC
